GCCISD FEATURE
Community Investment Creates Giant Futures
The Goose Creek CISD feature highlights the district’s annual Giant Futures Local Scholarship Awards Ceremony, held May 13 and sponsored by Cypress Creek Renewables.
The article reports that more than 120 graduating seniors collectively received over $255,000 through more than 50 local scholarship opportunities. It presents those awards as investments in students’ next steps through universities, community colleges, technical programs, and workforce training.
Smith & Moore Uplift Scholarships were part of that community effort, recognizing three GCCISD students from the 2026 scholarship class.
